The Build

No nails. No shortcuts. No rust.

A fairground cabinet gets transported, rained on and run hard for a whole season. Here's everything we do differently so it keeps working.

01

Genuine marine plywood

Every cabinet is built from genuine marine plywood, the board specified for the boat, yacht and ship industry. If it's engineered to live at sea, a wet season on the road is nothing. That's the guarantee of longevity outdoors that ordinary ply can't offer.

02

Designed & CNC cut in house

All design and R&D happens in house. Panels are CNC cut for precise, repeatable construction, so every joint lines up and every cabinet matches the drawing. Bespoke designs to suit almost any application, shaped around the ride, the space and the budget.

03

Screwed & glued, never nailed

Cabinets are fastened with screws, not nails like some competitors use, and every joint is bonded with waterproof glue for a perfect seal and serious strength. A nailed box works loose; a screwed and glued one stays a single solid unit.

04

Everything bolted, nothing screwed in

Screws are a thing of the past when it comes to fitting equipment. Drivers, handles and grilles are all bolted in place using threaded inserts set into the wood, which hold far better than any screw and can be removed and refitted as many times as servicing ever needs.

05

Stainless steel throughout

Every fastener on the cabinet is stainless steel. They look right on day one and, more importantly, they come undone on day one thousand. If a speaker ever needs servicing there are no rusty screws to battle, guaranteed.

06

Specialised durable coating

A two-part polyurethane coating gives a tough, durable, waterproof shell, available in almost any RAL or BS colour code. Match the ride, match the livery, or stand out on the pitch. Your cabinet, your colour.

07

High performance Italian drivers

Our drivers originate from Italy, a country known for top quality loudspeaker parts. Top end units are kept lightweight and as shallow as possible, giving versatile installation options without giving up volume or clarity.

08

Cable that survives the road

High performance speaker cable that offers maximum flexibility while maintaining conductivity, designed to withstand harsh environments, constant coiling, pulling and packing away.

09

Neutrik waterproof connectors

Connections are handled by Neutrik waterproof speakON connectors, the best there is for outdoor applications. Locked in, sealed against the weather and rated for the power our systems put through them.
